Truth: I love shopping!
From new products, unique gifts, new small shops, trendy clothing, kid's fashion to things for the home, you name it I love to shop for it.
I want to share some of my awesome finds with the world so I'm starting this lifestyle blog to show case some of my favourites. My intention is to focus on things I love, why I love them and what makes them so special.
Since Canada Day is right around the corner I thought I'd start off with some of the fun things I've found that are all about Canada!
OH Canada Harem Pants
The first item I'd like to share is from a small shop called Lennon and Lime. The OH CANADA Harem pants for kids. The fabric was designed by Lennon and Lime and contains all things Canadian including hockey sticks, maple syrup, toques and even Tim Horton's coffee cups in watercolour designs. It's a really fun print and each pair ends up being unique depending on how the fabric is cut. Roots Dresses
For those of you who know me personally, you know I am a huge lover of all things Roots. That's why I couldn't do a post about Canada Day without featuring something from Roots. Honestly the best thing I have discovered this summer are the Roots Dresses. They are the comfiest most practical dresses I own! Basically they feel like your favourite sweatshirt but in a dress form - and most of them have a front pocket. And you know how I feel about pockets .....YES PLEASE!!!! I was lucky enough to score one last weekend on sale and I know they usually have a Canada Day sale so stay tuned! I promise it will be your go to all summer long!
Muskoka Shorts
Next I want to share a unique find with you. Last year we visited Muskoka Brewery. I had no idea they sold clothing with Muskoka chair prints on them - how cute is that?! They have both men's swim shorts and ladies shorts in their online shop. You can find the ladies shorts here which are a perfect Canadian piece to throw over a bathing suit this holiday weekend! Oh...and they are on SALE right now!
Canada Prints
Lastly I want to feature an amazing artist who creates paper products, cards and prints for your home. I had the pleasure of meeting the artist behind Amara Strand Studio at the One of a Kind show this year. She specializes in watercolour prints and has an entire collection devoted to Canada.
